Breast Cancer Awareness

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

One in every eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. As a company for women by women, we are doing our part to empower all those affected. From October 1-31, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we will match 100% of customer donations made on www.aninebing.com in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. All funds will be donated directly to BCRF. BCRF’s mission is to advance the world’s most promising research to eradicate breast cancer. For more information about BCRF, visit www.bcrf.org.

Meredith, 5 years cancer-free

“We all have struggles and obstacles that are going to deter us at some point(s) in life, but hope and optimism, along with faith, is what can turn a bad situation into personal growth. Bumps in the road are often the most character building.”

Maria, diagnosed last month with breast cancer

“I believe you have what it takes inside of you to address what’s happening and when you do, you’re just going to come out even stronger.”

Kimberly, breast and lymph-node cancer survivor

“To be strong means you are resilient and you can get knocked down but you keep getting back up. It’s not about the fall, it’s about the getting up.”

Rebecca, diagnosed this year with breast cancer

“I am bigger and better than this cancer and it will not define me.”

Kelly, recently cancer-free

“Through this whole journey I’ve really realized different parts of myself—different strengths and weaknesses, and I think being able to acknowledge those and
using them is what finding your power is.”

Alice, breast cancer survivor

“I would like other women to know that you can do anything you want. I am a very strong, powerful, loving mother, grandmother—and great-grandmother.”

Dede, stage-3 cancer survivor

“I’ve learned being strong is also showing your weakness and asking for help. Women are powerful because women are strong, they endure a lot and take on a lot, but they also are soft and caring.”
